Deposits, unused dates, and money returned

These rules apply to subscription health reviews, trial conversion studies, and renewal briefings. This studio does not sell boxed products, shipping, or software licences.

Eligibility

A refund is available when we have not started the file check, or when we cancel a sitting we cannot restaff. Once reconstruction has begun, fees for time already spent are kept.

Timeframe

Ask in writing to hello@toolkitstudio.click within fourteen days of the event you want considered (a cancellation, a no-show, or a briefing you reject for a documented scope breach).

Full or partial

• Full deposit return if we decline the work after the file check because the extracts cannot support any first-renewal reading.
• Partial if you cancel more than ten working days before the opening sitting: we keep 20% of the deposit for the reserved fortnight and return the rest.
• None of the unused balance if reconstruction has started, except for a documented scope breach on our side.

Non-refundable

Time already spent on reconstruction; an extra readout that already occurred; a renewal briefing date you missed without five working days’ notice.

Process

Email the engagement name, the invoice date, and the bank account for a return. We confirm in writing.

Processing time and method

Returns are made by bank transfer to a Malaysian account in the invoiced name within fifteen working days of agreement. We do not return cash at the desk.

Cancellations and rescheduling

You may move an opening sitting once if you give five working days’ notice. A second move is treated as a cancellation. We may move a sitting if both principals are ill; that move does not consume your one courtesy change.

Deposits and no-shows

The booking deposit holds dates. A no-show without notice forfeits the deposit. The remaining invoice, if not yet issued, is cancelled.

Work already started

Printed drafts and working tables are not “unused goods.” They are the labour. We will still send whatever partial memo exists if you terminate after reconstruction has begun; that is not a basis for a full return.

We do not purchase stock on your behalf. There is nothing to restock.
